At OhioHealth, we believe you deserve clarity around the cost of your care. That’s why we’ve made billing statements easier to follow, and paying for care possible with a few taps. We want you to have the same clarity as you’re planning your care.

Anytime you schedule a patient visit or medical procedure at OhioHealth, we provide you with a pricing estimate in your MyChart account or over the phone.

But you can request personalized estimates or view standard charges for care whenever you need to, in whichever way is most convenient for you. And if you need to speak with someone about your questions or your financing options, we’re just a phone call away.

Hospital pricing lists and billing policies

To help you understand hospital charges, OhioHealth provides a price list for each hospital in our health system. Hospital prices are the same for all patients, although total charges may vary depending on the severity of the medical condition being treated, the level of care required to treat the medical condition, and the number of services used. A patient’s personal financial responsibility may vary depending on availability or level of health insurance.

Our price lists are available in JSON format below. The JSON file is machine-readable and can be downloaded into a spreadsheet program.

Due to limitations in presenting complicated and differing contracted rate methodologies in a standardized way, the contracted rate (i.e., payer-specific negotiated charges) in the machine-readable files will not always reflect the contracted rate that applies in an individual patient’s case. As described below, there are variables that exist by patient and/or health insurance plan that must be taken into account to arrive at contracted rates applicable for specific items and services.

If there is a discrepancy between a payer-specific negotiated charge listed in the machine-readable file(s) and the contracted rate applicable to a specific patient claim, the terms of the payer contract will control, so the machine-readable file(s) may be of limited benefit to our patients. We recommend OhioHealth patients use our Price Estimation tool for personalized cost estimates for OhioHealth hospital services.
