Natural electrical impulses in the body cause contractions in the heart — or heart beats — to keep your blood flowing. In some people, that heart rhythm can get out of sync causing a myriad of symptoms from dizziness and fainting to blood clots and strokes.

Cardiac Mapping
Our electrophysiologists were among the first in the state to begin using cardiac mapping for more accurate diagnosis and successful treatment of complex cardiac arrhythmias. The system generates a 3D map of the heart’s electrical function that helps physicians more precisely target the areas that need to be ablated.
Ablation
Catheter ablation is a minimally invasive technique used to eliminate the abnormal heart tissue responsible for an arrhythmia. Using advanced imaging and a tiny incision, a catheter is threaded through blood vessels to the heart to deliver ablation energy to eliminate the heart tissue responsible for the arrhythmia.
Implanted devices
We have vast experience implanting and managing cardiac devices. Access to a wide array of cardiac pacemakers, biventricular pacemakers, cardiac defibrillators and arrhythmia monitoring devices allows us to provide the right treatment for your specific condition. After you receive your device, we provide regular monitoring and evaluation in our outpatient device clinics to ensure the device is functioning optimally.
